:(In brief, I'm modestly in favour of using polytonic titles for ancient greek texts. Firstly, I think most modern browsers don't have any compatibility issues. Secondly, I think monotonic titles give the false impression that they lead to modern translations of ancient texts (compare Αναλυτικών Προτέρων/Ἀναλυτικῶν Προτέρων). Finally (and this is only a speculation) the use of monotonic accentuation for ancient greek texts might be considered bad spelling. However, for practical reasons, I would be against using polytonic titles if they are orthographically correct. It would be great if an expert could shed some light on the issue.) --Christina Nicolaou (συζήτηση) 19:20, 12 Φεβρουαρίου 2013 (UTC)

:: I guess that proper consistency requires monotonic Greek texts. I don't know how monotonic Greek is more compatible with modern browsers than polytonic Greek (but this may be well my own ignorance).
:: I'm not Greek and I'm not expert in Greek literature. But it makes a weird impression having a monotonic heading titling a polytonic text.
:: Of course, diacritical marks weren't original to most classical Greek texts. But neither lower case letters and spaces distinguishing words were. --Ousia (συζήτηση) 20:06, 12 Φεβρουαρίου 2013 (UTC)
